Overseeing the information technology strategy, operations, and projects of group and business units. In addition, the person will ensure the IT systems and services are aligned with the group’s objectives, standards, and policies along with IT staff, vendors, and budgets across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the IT vision, and strategies that aligned with the group’s objectives and needs. Assessing technology needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and defining long- term IT roadmaps for the group Lead and coordinate the IT activities, initiatives, and projects across the group.
- Ensure the security, availability, reliability, and performance of the IT systems and services are properly monitored and reviewed constantly.
- Plan and manage the IT budget and resources and optimize the IT costs and value.
- Establish and enforcing the IT governance, policies, and standards for the group.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the IT staff and teams.
- Manage the relationships and contracts with external IT vendors and partners.
- Monitor and report on the IT performance, risks, and issues.
- Develop and implement business continuity plan and disaster recovery strategies for the group.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations that can support the group’s goals and needs.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant IT laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Supervision of Global IT Team: Directly manage and provide day-to-day supervision for the IT teams in various countries.
- Reporting Relationship: Work closely with team leads and individual contributors, ensuring a cohesive and productive working environment.
- Utilize extensive experience in troubleshooting to address complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work closely with stake holders to Automate various process to bring in business process efficiency with IT and AI support.
- Provide effective management of the organizations portfolio of systems and projects.
- Managing vulnerabilities and implementing effective patch management processes.
- Demonstrate an expert-level understanding of WAN/LAN networks, VLANs, and firewall configurations to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
- Assessing the current network and upgrade including hardware and software, to meet changing business requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service levels and contractual obligations.
- Respond to and resolve escalated infrastructure-related incidents and issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for the complete infrastructure planning which includes but not limited to (data centers, public/ private cloud environments). Should have worked with back-office application servers. Manage routers and network security.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT infrastructure. Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate controls.
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and report on budget variances.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and recommend strategies to optimize IT infrastructure investments.
- ERP – Monitor and maintain the complete ERP platform and assist in selection and implementation phase of new ERP.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
- Professional Qualifications/ Certifications: PMP, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified preferred.
- Min Years of Experience: 15 years
- Years of relevant/ functional experience: 5+ years in a leading position
- Other Experience: Global multinational corporation experience

Technical / Functional/Industry:
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex IT projects and programs especially New ERP implementation or management of existing ERP setup (MSD / SAP preferred).
- Proven experience in managing and supervising IT teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, architectures, platforms, and applications. Familiar with cloud management, and data management is beneficial.
- Experience with IT security including cybersecurity measures, risk management, and compliance. Experience in implementing security measures and safeguarding data is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Ability to evaluate vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and oversee SLAs.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and knowledge of data privacy regulations, would be advantageous.
