Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with multiple business areas and stakeholders to establish, develop sourcing strategies and supplier management activities with input of spend analytics and budgetary forecasts
  • Communicate, negotiate, and own the relationship with Customers and Suppliers through all levels of the Customer organization
  • The position will be responsible for global and domestic sourcing strategies focused on strategic materials.
  • Manage a high-performing, multi-site based team of supplier development engineers and procurement professionals who will identify, develop, and manage a high-performing supply network for categories leveraging Procurement Classification Codes (PCC)
  • Establish performance management criteria for the suppliers
  • Develop, implement and negotiate an overall budget that supports the needs of the strategic sourcing department, including accountability for service charge negotiation, performance, and profitable sourcing.
  • Recommend and implement process changes and enablers required to shift current fragmented spend and project purchasing to a category management methodology
  • Provide expertise on project dynamics in a buy-to-sell context
  • Drive coordination with Project Lead, OpCo lead, Next Gen Supply Partnership work-stream lead and SMEs.

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and supplier management skills
  • Possessing technical competence, a high level of commercial awareness and able to translate strategy into action
  • Impart knowledge on relevant spend categories
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and take ownership for business case accountability and overall implementation for project for spend categories in scope
